Warnings and Watches posted for Baja California Sur as Hurricane Norbert Approaches
Only the Dow Jones Industrial average may fall faster than the barometer in Baja California Sur today as Hurricane Norbert approaches for a Saturday landfall.
Hurricane Norbert 2008 Hurricane NORBERT: "10/10/2008 3:01 AM MDT Hurricane Norbert continues to slowly weaken and is now a Category 1 Hurricane some 315 miles SW of Cabo San Lucas. The system has begun to pick up forward speed and turn to the north and should continue to do so over the next 24hrs. Norbert is forecast to make landfall sometime early Saturday as a Category 1 Hurricane along the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur."
