   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

11AM MST 12/04/07 Nothing but big blue H's surrounding Baja will bring clear skies and cool temperatures to the entire peninsula today. A Trof (orange arrow) runs the length of the Sea and diminishing winds from the north turning NNE are the result. AS the High's (blue arrow) over the mainland strengthen, Baja winds will turn again to the SSE and SSW in 48hrs. Winds to 15kts from the west are forecast for late in the week. In the US, another cluster of Highs (magenta arrow) is keeping most of the west clear and dry. A cold front is expected to push south by Saturday and may bring more winter temperatures to Baja California by late in the weekend. Baja Sur will be experiencing typing pre-Christmas weather. If you are sitting at a desk reading this... come-on down and play!
