Tropical Storm Kiko to Spare Baja California Sur

09AM MDT 10/21/07 Tropical Storm Kiko (red arrow) is now about 295 miles SE of Cabo San Lucas and moving NE. The forecasts call for TS Kiko to remain a Tropical Storm and move more than 150 miles south of Cabo, west into the Pacific. Three High pressure systems (blue arrows) are over the mainland, the northern two will oppose the Low of TS Kiko and are forecast to deliver winds from the NE later today to 25kts and generating seas to 6' in the lower Sea. A cold front (magenta arrow) is moving into Baja California and will bring clouds, showers and cooler temp today and cooler weather to Baja Sur mid-week..
