Baja California Weather Outlook

   Baja California Weather Outlook

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

10AM MDT 09/08/07  Life is almost back to normal in Baja Sur following the passage of Henriette. The remains of Hurricane Felix (magenta arrow) now just a Low, is stirring up some thunderstorms and the system may regenerate some, but winds above 25-30kts are not expected. The system is moving NE and may bring rain to East Cape and northward, into the Sea in the next 24hrs. A High (blue arrow) has developed west of central Baja and will keep our skies clear and dry outside the threat of rain from the Low. There are three tropical waves on the map, but none are forecast to develop further.
