   Baja California & Weather Summary & Tropical Storm Henriette

09PM MDT 09/01/07  Tropical Storm Henriette (red arrow) has moved out into open water and continues to strengthen. The storm is expected to become a hurricane in the next 12 hrs and pass SW of Cabo San Lucas on Monday. Over cooler waters the storm is expected to diminish to a Tropical Storm before making landfall north of San Ignacio on Wednesday. The Low (blue arrow) and Trof that extends down the Sea of Cortez may affect the course of Henriette. Gill (yellow arrow) is blowing off into the Pacific. There are two tropical waves on out map (orange arrows) that may influence weather in our basin early next week.
