Baja California Weather Synopsis

   Baja California Weather Forecast

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

11AM MDT 07/29/07 The remains of TS  Dalila (orange arrow) linger out 600 miles west of Baja. A ridge of High pressure extends from a High about 1200 miles west of San Francisco toward Baja (blue arrow) This ridge is expected to strengthen and continue keep Baja unseasonably dry for the next few days. A tropical Low (magenta arrow) is being stimulated by a tropical wave and has some potential for development. However, this Low is already too far west to affect Baja weather. Another tropical wave is moving west from Guatemala, but there is little organization in the moisture ahead of it to appear threatening at this time. Clear skies, slightly cooler and dryer than seasonal is the forecast for Baja today.
