Baja California Weather Outlook

   Baja California Weather Forecast

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

11AM MDT 07/01/07 The US Navy Satellite is down so we have a black image today. The Pacific High (blue arrow) has been pushed less than 800 miles west of Baja California so the skies will be clear and dry throughout the peninsula. This is causing a gale to blow in the California Bight (green arrow) We have just two tropical waves (orange arrows) on our map, neither of which is expected to find enough moisture to stimulate before moving over cooler waters in the next few days. One more tropical wave will enter our basin about Tuesday. I have stopped quoting Buoy weather for Corumuel Winds in the southern Sea as their forecast batting average has dropped well below just guessing. The evening winds will begin to subside as we near the middle of July anyway.
