Baja California Weather Outlook

   Baja California Weather Forecast

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

10AM MDT 06/27/07 Bright sunny skies and warm temperatures will be in store for Baja today from the US border to Cabo San Lucas. Forecasts are calling for strong Corumuel Winds in the Southern Sea to 18kts. We have three tropical waves in our basin (orange arrows) and SSW of Cabo there is one system (magenta arrow) that still has some potential for development, but it is moving rapidly westward. The system has created a bend in the ITCZ that will keep the flow over +30° water for a greater distance in the next wave. The eastern most wave is significantly larger and will pass further north than any previous wave this season. However, the Eastern pacific Hurricane Basin remains relatively dry.
