| 11AM MDT 06/17/07 A pretty quiet map for Baja today. Sunny skies and increasingly warm temperatures will apply for all of the Baja peninsula today. Evening breezes are diminishing and our hot/still summer weather is just around the corner. The Pacific High off our map to the west is responsible for this running string of beautiful days. There are three Tropical Waves orange arrows) in our basin with a fourth on the way early this week. Fortunately, there is only a small area of thunderstorms for them to stimulate. (yellow arrow) A pocket of early morning thunderstorms (green arrow) is active over the mainland. |
