| 10AM MDT 06/03/07 Most of the Baja peninsula will enjoy perfect summer weather today. The TJ-Ensenada region will endure a marine layer which should retreat by mid afternoon. Baja Sur temps will near 98°F. The Pacific High off our map to the west (blue arrow) is responsible for our clear and dry skies. Two trofs are moving along the ITCZ (orange arrows) Two thermal Lows over the mainland Mexico have no tropical moisture to draw inland, following the passage of TS Barbara. Barbara came ashore yesterday in the Mexican state of Chiapas and dissipated completely over land with the cooler/dryer air of the High that moved into the central Gulf. |
