09AM MST 05/22/07 Corumuel Winds continue to blow along the southern Sea of Cortez to 20kts after sunset from the SW to WSW. It will be clear, sunny and dry over al of the Baja peninsula today as our weather continues to be dominated by the Pacific High (blue arrow) off our map to the west. just traces of the Pineapple Express moisture (yellow arrow) are able to survive in the dry air environment. There is a long string of thunderstorms (magenta arrow) west of our Hurricane basin and unlike to generate tropical cyclone activity. A trough is moving SW in the Caribbean (orange arrow) but will find very dry air on the Pacific side when it arrives later this week. A line of severe weather (red arrow) is pushing east through eastern Texas.
