Baja California Weather Outlook Baja California Weather Forecast |
09AM MST 05/18/07 Just our regular early summer weather throughout Baja today. The north and south of the peninsula wlll be clear while a faint trace of the Pineapple Express (yellow arrow) moves across the central portions. Winds throughout the Sea are expected to be light and variable during the day and 15kts from the WSW in the southern Sea and to 20kts in the northern Sea after sunset. The Pacific High off our map to the west (blue arrow) will keep moisture low and skies clear. There is some moderate thunderstorm activity in the ITCZ (orange arrow) and a Low (magenta arrow) in the Caribbean that may travel across the Isthmus with a trough and present the first possibility for tropical cyclone formation in the Pacific late in the weekend. This early in the season it is improbable that it would present a threat to Baja. |
