10AM MST 05/08/07 Most of Baja will enjoy sunny skies and seasonable temperatures today There is a Low (green arrow) in the So Cal bight that may bring some clouds to the northern most portions of Baja California. In the SST animation we can see the first strong northward movement of warmer waters around Baja. The +30°C waters are also growing (magenta arrow) The Pacific High off our map to the west (blue arrow) will continue to dominate Baja weather for the next few weeks. A light overcast or broken clouds will be seen today in the southern most part of Baja Sur (yellow arrow) by drawn east by the thermal low (orange arrow) over mainland Mexico. There is some thunderstorm activity in the ITCZ (magenta arrow) moving west.
