11AM MST 05/05/07 There are some broken clouds over Baja Sur today as a result of a thin Pineapple Express (yellow arrow) The Pacific High off our map to the west (blue arrow) is interacting with the cold front (orange arrow) that passed through CA yesterday to bring a gale (green arrow) to the So Cal Bight and projected larger swell along the Baja Pacific coast. Baja California will have clearing skies today as the cold front moves east. A line of severe thunderstorms and possible tornados (red arrow) is moving through Texas. A trough is moving along the ITCZ (magenta arrow) to the west as we are just 10 days away from the beginning of Eastern Pacific Hurricane Season. |
