Baja California Weather Forecast

   Baja California Weather Forecast

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

08AM MST 04/10/07 Most of Baja California and Baja Sur will enjoy sunny skies today. The Pacific Coast will probably endure a marine layer through mid day. Our southerly winds will continue as a trough (yellow arrow) runs directly up the Sea of Cortez to a Low (magenta arrow) that has dropped down into Baja California. This Low has been stalled behind a deeper Low that will break free and move east rapidly today (orange arrow) The pressure difference is a result of a High off our map in the Pacific (blue arrow) Another trough (red arrow) is moving along the ITCZ but the northern edge is tearing away and moving east.
